UVI release Augmented Orchestra 1.1, an expanded version of their hybrid orchestral instrument, melding a world-class orchestra with processed and synthetic sounds to deliver imaginative timbres and breathtaking soundscapes. Version 1.1 includes the new “Future” preset category, loaded with 100 newly designed patches focused on modern sound design, as well as 35 new source layers to use for your own patch design. UVI Augmented Orchestra 1.1 is available now as a free download for existing users, or with a special sale price of $199/199€ through October 2nd, 2022 (regularly $299/299€).

Augmented Orchestra gives users a creative environment to explore and design completely new instruments. Starting with a deep chromatic multi-sampling of a world-class symphony orchestra, recorded both by section and in ensembles, ready to twist, morph, and synthesize into entirely new sonic amalgams with a vast collection of electronic and processed sound sources, and perfectly suited for use as a stand-alone acoustic orchestral instrument.

Powerful engine and DSP enhancements are at the heart of UVI Augmented Orchestra, giving users advanced performance, morphing, modulation, and phrasing capabilities. The multi-part, multi-layer design, combined with over 400 sources, and over 500 presets, provides deep sound design potential, letting you effortlessly move between timbres, arpeggiator patterns, and effect configurations to transform your sound, creating everything from subtle transformations to completely new sounds.

UVI Augmented Orchestra offers native 64-bit standalone operation by way of Falcon or the free UVI Workstation, providing comprehensive support for all modern DAWs and simultaneous authorization on up to 3 computers or iLok keys.
