Summer Thieves release their fourth single ‘Slow Down’ from the upcoming album CIGARETTES IN SPACE

Featuring a singalong hook and an infectious melody which they’ve become known for, their new single ‘Slow Down’ is another track which shows the maturation in Summer Thieves’ sound.

Grounded in their indie-rock sound, the track brings the pop elements that are found throughout the album. Written about the feeling of being in love and the harsh reality of losing love, the track showcases the confident sound seen on the album, with the band never afraid to push their sound further afield.

‘Slow Down’ arrives alongside pre-orders for Summer Thieves’ third full-length album, CIGARETTES IN SPACE, out August 18.

After 12 months that has seen the band sell out tours across NZ, play some of the country’s biggest festivals, and return to Australia, the album showcases a band at the top of their game. Embracing rock, alternative and pop sounds, the album sees the band pushing their sounds further than before while staying true to what has brought them this far.

With an NZ album release tour to be announced, 2023 is set to end in a massive way for Summer Thieves.
