Sennheiser’s TeamConnect Intelligent Speaker TC ISP wins iF DESIGN AWARD 2022

Sennheiser is winner of this year’s iF DESIGN AWARD, the world-renowned design prize. The TeamConnect Intelligent Speaker won in the discipline “product”, in the category ‘telecommunication’. Its minimalistic design as well as the great usability convinced the jurors. The iF DESIGN AWARD ceremony took place in Berlin on May 16, 2022.

Since 1953, the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes every year the iF DESIGN AWARD. The 132-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world, awards outstanding design from various categories such as product, communication, packaging and user experience (UX).  The intelligent speaker optimized for Microsoft Teams (TC ISP) won over the jurors with its minimalistic design that allows for intuitive use. TC ISP was designed by Zurich-based brand and product design consultancy Notation Creative Consulting.

The conference speaker was created to give teams a whole new way to collaborate: smart, focused, and inclusive, as if everyone were in one place. Automatic meeting notes make an inclusive meeting experience possible for remote and hard-of-hearing participants. The product offers an omnidirectional speaker and covers a 3.5m radius with 7 integrated beamforming microphones. 

The competition for TC ISP was intense: almost 11,000 entries were submitted from 57 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality. More information can be found in the “Winners & Ranking” section on www.ifdesign.com.
