Ōtepoti trio Allophones blast back into your senses with ‘Eyeball’

A dazzling follow-up to their debut single Human, Eyeball was recorded when the band landed home from their momentous three-week tour of Aotearoa earlier this year.

Ben Connolly (lead vocals & guitar) Barney Connolly (backing vocals & bass) and Tane Cotton (backing vocals & drums) are joined on this track by the stunning violin of Motoko Kikkawa. The band then enlisted the mixing talent of legendary engineer/producer Nick Roughan, whose equally renowned counterpart Tex Houston took on mastering duties.

The striking accompanying animated video was created by Barney, reinventing the band as the criminal inhabitants of a dystopian futuristic city.

Transport yourself, with Eyeball by [Allophones].
