Native Instruments releases SESSION GUITARIST – ELECTRIC SUNBURST
Native Instruments recently released the latest KONTAKT instrument in the SESSION GUITARIST series. Created in association with award-winning sample instrument team Drumasonic, ELECTRIC SUNBURST provides producers and composers with a highly playable, contemporary electric guitar.
ELECTRIC SUNBURST captures the sound of a classic mahogany-bodied electric guitar, chosen for its rich, warm, and versatile sound. Signals from the bridge and neck humbuckers were recorded separately, with an additional condenser microphone mounted above the strings to capture fine sonic details for added punch and realism. Further tone-shaping options include tone and volume controls, plus five fully-tweakable amplifiers, 10 cabinet emulations, and 14 effects units.
ELECTRIC SUNBURST combines a comprehensive library of strumming patterns, picked arpeggios, and riffs with real-time performance controls. The innovative playback engine makes it easy to perform a virtually endless number of chord variations, with convincing, musical results. To make this possible, thousands of loops, single notes, and noises were sampled over a wide range of fret positions, and played both with plectrum and fingers in open, muted, and flageolet articulations.
ELECTRIC SUNBURST runs in KONTAKT 5 and the free KONTAKT 5 PLAYER, and is available now at the NI Online Shop for 99€, 99$,89£, 12800¥.
