CONNOR MAC REVEALS STYLISH VISUALS FOR LATEST SINGLE, ‘SEE THROUGH’

Rising talent CONNOR MAC reveals a stylish video to complement his latest single ‘See Through’, a beautifully harmonious song showcasing a soulful vocal performance from Connor, released mid-October.

Shot by NZ film director Taine Noble from Six Creative, the video shoot was a technical triumph, conducted under the very challenging conditions of a freezing cold Swiss winter. “Despite the cold, we had a great time in the process…we loved the challenge. We were as resourceful as we could be at a time when you couldn’t lean on anyone else for help. Taine worked his magic and somehow, we pulled it off. I am so pleased with the result.”

Infused with a warm soundscape and coupled with Conor’s rich vocals, ‘See Through’ is another soul-flecked pop-gem from this prolific and talented musician. Co-written with Giles Nuttall, recorded and produced by Connor in his home studio in Switzerland, and mastered in Australia by Grammy Award Winner Joe Carra, ‘See Through’ is an emotive anthem written to compel the listener to dissipate their innermost doubts, and learn to have confidence in themselves.

Says Connor: The song is a message to look into our self-doubts about our own worth, whether we wear that on the surface or bury it deep within. It takes the theme of anxiety and support and as it’s an uplifting song my aim is to give confidence to people suffering from low self-esteem.

The 25-year-old singer-songwriters’ follow up to the critically acclaimed debut single ‘Purpose’, sees Connor build upon an already impressive body of work with his current tunes, which has amassed an incredible 2 million+ streams to date.

Connor’s music embodies a uniquely soulful and organic sound – elements of neo-soul combined with infectious pop melodies, and enhanced by his sublime production skills. His lovelorn songs reveal a stunningly honest vulnerability in their lyrics, and ‘See Through’ is yet another compelling expression of his innate ability to conjure up a heart-felt tune that is an introspective delight.

One of a new generation of talent who is beginning to cut through the noisy digital landscape of the global music industry, Connor Mac is starting to gain the attention of the UK music press, and without a doubt this rising artist deserves to be firmly on your radar.
