AMERICAN SINGER-SONGWRITER CAROLINE JONES FALLS IN LOVE WITH AOTEAROA,

With more than 10 million Spotify streams, a massive US following and the first-ever female to join Grammy award-winning ZAC BROWN BAND, American singer-songwriter Caroline Jones fell in love with Aotearoa and shines a light on her love affair with the country with her new music video “If I Don’t Love You” from her latest album drop Antipodes.

Filmed around the country, Caroline Jones states, “I lived in New Zealand for seven months from 2020-2021, during which time I wrote and recorded the bulk of my album Antipodes in Auckland. I wanted to capture the land that inspired the music as part of the album’s visual representation, so before I returned to Nashville, I filmed two music videos in NZ. The first is “Come In (But Don’t Make Yourself Comfortable)”, a music video I shot in Auckland with Fish N’ Clips Productions, and a cast of Kiwi actors and dancers. The song went Top 30 on the US Country Radio Chart this year.

“The second video we shot is this upcoming release, “If I Don’t Love You”, which finds me in Glenorchy, Queenstown and Otara. “If I Don’t Love You” is truly a love letter on film to New Zealand, comprising some of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever seen on screen, let alone in person. I would love for New Zealanders to see this video; I am so excited to share it with the people and place that holds such a special place in my heart.”

Antipodes was thoughtfully selected as Jones’ sophomore album title as she spent the majority of lockdown in New Zealand working on the record and falling in love with her now fiancé Nick Dana, who was in NZ training and competing in the America’s Cup.

The 13-track album includes features and credits from an all-star group of artists the multi-instrumentalist has met along her career including GRAMMY Award-winning musician Zac Brown, Joe Bonamassa, Old Dominion’s Matthew Ramsey, Mac McAnally, and more.
