The Leonard Simpson Duo share video for ‘Heavy Organ’ ft Wildchild

Legendary Detroit MC Guilty Simpson & New Zealand producer Leonard Charles share the brand new video for ‘Heavy Organ’ from L.S.D by The Leonard Simpson Duo. The video was hand drawn by Kiwi expat Adi Dick, who is now based in Norway.

“Adi used to work at Wellington’s Real Groovy Record store in the mid 2000s,” says Leonard Charles. “I would go in and hang and talk Detroit music with Adi. It’s an honour having him draw this video for us.”

“The only guest feature on our album is Wildchild. It’s classic Wildchild, hard-hitting and rapid-fire,” he adds. “We had this track mixed by super engineer Ben Lawson at Red Bull Studio, Auckland.”

The Leonard Simpson Duo’s debut record L.S.D is out digitally and on LP via Jakarta Records.
