A light and uplifting indie-pop tune, ‘Skylah’ is soaked in Daily J’s signature sound of catchy guitar and vocal hooks. Produced by Kiwi legend Joe Faris and mastered by Grammy-winning LA-based engineer Brian Lucey‘Skylah’ is loosely based around a teenage fantasy and alludes to the bright sound and dreamworld theme of Daily J’s debut album.

‘Skylah’ comes on the back of a string of cracking singles from the Auckland-based band, including ‘By The Sea’‘Left Me Like Summer’ and ‘Black Lagoon’, which combined have amassed close to a million streams on Spotify, with all tracks receiving radio play and support from Radio Hauraki.

The band was also kept busy over summer 2019/2020 with a nationwide headline tour and festival appearances.

Daily J are an act on the rise and ‘Skylah’ is the perfect taster of what’s to come from these ‘three brothers and a drummer from another mother’.
