With 16 effects included at launch and the promise of an expanding library, the PX-1 offers musicians a new way to experience the heritage of BOSS, powered by modern DSP and supported by the new BOSS Effect Loader app for iOS and Android.

Since its debut in 1977, the BOSS compact pedal line has become a fixture in pedalboards worldwide. More than 140 different models have been created, with over 19 million units sold — some remaining in continuous production for decades. From workhorse classics to rare oddities, these pedals have shaped the sound of countless recordings.

The PX-1 distills that legacy into one pedal. Using newly developed BOSS algorithms and a dedicated DSP engine, each model delivers the authentic tone and response of the original. Every knob movement behaves as expected, with the familiar BOSS layout supported by a clear onboard display for real-time parameter tracking.
