These Automatic Changers – Have Mercy

‘Have Mercy’ embarks on an aural road trip through the shallows of blues ,via 70s inspired satanic blues, to the chest thumping sound straight from the catalogues of vintage rock music.

Unusually for the times, the album was recorded live to tape at York Street studios and this allowed the band to capture the raw power of the quartet in a no frills environment. The video for the first single ‘Have Mercy’ was directed by ex Space Waltz frontman Alastair Riddell.

They kicked off the celebrations in September with a support slot for the UK’s seminal electro industrial pop terrorists ‘Pop Will Eat Itself’ and will support touring ex-pats ‘Agent’ who return from London Thursday November 27th at the Kings Arms. The band will follow these dates with a nationwide tour announcement shortly.

Psychedelic, dirty, ‘come get some’ rock…” Lisa Tagaloa, NZ Musician

heading back in time in a hot tub time machine to the 70s, the band has a great original sound whilst using the guitar sound and riffs of those bands of old” Wal Reid – Music Nation

The These Automatic Changers experience is all of those untouchable greats mixed in a reverberating granite pot, broken up by chain gang style Work Songs and Blues worthy of Robert Johnson.”Petros – Music.Net.Nz
